Zhongqing Intelligent Manufacturing has officially activated its Shenzhen Honghualing base, marking the production debut of the T800 humanoid robot. The new facility features a fully integrated manufacturing loop capable of producing one unit every 15 minutes, with further expansion planned for a global headquarters in Zhengzhou.

Zhongqing Robotics officially announced on May 22, 2026, that its intelligent manufacturing base in Honghualing, Shenzhen, is now operational. The milestone was marked by the successful rollout of the first batch of T800 humanoid robots.

According to the company, the newly enabled production line integrates intelligent manufacturing with research and development testing. It boasts a production efficiency capable of delivering one finished humanoid robot every 15 minutes. The facility spans 12,000 square meters and establishes a comprehensive closed-loop manufacturing process, covering everything from incoming material quality inspection and component assembly to final machine testing, mass production shipment, and after-sales maintenance.

The T800 humanoid robot, initially released in December 2025, stands 173cm tall. It features an aviation-grade high-strength magnesium-aluminum alloy body formed through one-piece die-casting and is equipped with a fully self-developed multi-dimensional perception dexterous hand. The product line offers a tiered matrix consisting of a Basic Version, an Eco Version (Open Source), a Pro Version, and a Max Version (Flagship), with pricing starting at 180,000 RMB.

Beyond the Shenzhen facility, Zhongqing revealed that planning for its global headquarters in Zhengzhou, Henan, has commenced. A production line with an annual capacity of 10,000 units at the Zhengzhou Yunzhi Technology Park is also steadily advancing.

One humanoid robot rolling off the line every 15 minutes is a clear signal that the industry is shifting from lab prototypes to real manufacturing at scale. The fully integrated loop at Shenzhen’s Honghualing base and the planned Zhengzhou headquarters suggest aggressive expansion, not just in production speed but in geographic footprint. The T800 name inevitably invites comparison to Terminator lore, but the real news here is that humanoid robotics is moving from hype to actual supply chains. Whether Zhongqing can maintain quality at that pace and compete globally will be the next test.

A 15-minute production cycle for the T800 humanoid robot represents a massive leap in manufacturing efficiency. It suggests that the gap between prototype development and mass adoption is closing rapidly. Zhongqing's aggressive expansion strategy highlights the intensifying competition in the global humanoid robotics market, moving beyond simple research into true large-scale production capabilities.
