Tencent Yuanbao AI has officially announced a rebranding of its logo, adopting a more anthropomorphic style that features eyes. The update aims to present the AI assistant as a more lively and agile companion to users.
According to an official statement, the new design reflects the company's commitment to continuous evolution in both brand visuals and product capabilities. "The brand aims to accompany you with a more lively and agile posture," the statement reads.
Launched in May 2024, Tencent Yuanbao was initially promoted through a limited-time download entry on WeChat. The application gained further momentum during the recent Spring Festival with a massive incentive campaign offering 1 billion cash red packets. Data from the event indicates that over 36 billion lottery draws were conducted, and users completed more than 10 billion AI tasks via the "Creation" tab.
Market data from QuestMobile highlights the rapid adoption of the AI application. During the Spring Festival, Yuanbao achieved a peak Daily Active User (DAU) of 40.54 million. It recorded a 940% growth rate, the highest among the top three AI applications during the period. In terms of daily usage frequency, Yuanbao ranked second with 12.1 average uses per user, trailing only Qwen's 14.4.
