Lingtong Unveils World's First Robot Girl Group, Announces Second-Generation Robot Pre-Sales
At AWE 2026, Lingtong Robotics showcased a groundbreaking performance by a humanoid robot girl group and announced the upcoming presale of its second-generation model. The new robot features autonomous standing and walking, a hyper-realistic miniaturized face, and an enhanced 'embodied intelligence' AI system for emotional interaction.
Shanghai – At the 2026 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE), Lingtong Robotics staged a world-first spectacle: a synchronized dance performance by a "robot girl group," simultaneously announcing the imminent presale of its significantly upgraded second-generation consumer robot.
The performance highlighted the technical prowess of Lingtong's current platform. The 60cm-tall humanoid robots are powered by in-house developed 6mm micro digital servo motors, enabling 32 degrees of freedom and a remarkable joint precision of 0.01°. This allows for complex movements including running, jumping, and precise imitation of human gestures, all demonstrated on a tabletop stage.
AI and Customization at Core The company's AI framework, described as a "cerebrum and cerebellum" collaborative embodied intelligence model, facilitates multi-modal interaction and emotion recognition. Paired with a modular design and a "Soul Editor" software platform, users can customize the robot's appearance, personality traits, and memory.
Second-Generation Leap Forward Lingtong confirmed that presales for its second-generation robot will commence in Q2 2026. This new model addresses a key limitation of the first generation by achieving fully autonomous standing and walking.
A major upgrade is the introduction of what Lingtong claims is the world's smallest ultra-high-degree-of-freedom bionic face at one-third the standard size. This is designed to deliver more lifelike and nuanced facial expressions for empathetic human-robot interaction.
Catering to the developer community, Lingtong will also release an enthusiast version supporting secondary development and customization. The company plans a synchronized launch in both domestic Chinese and overseas markets.
The showcase at AWE positions Lingtong not just as a hardware manufacturer but as a pioneer in social, interactive robotics, aiming to bring personalized, emotionally intelligent companions closer to consumer reality.
